East-West Shrine Bowl week is underway for Ohio State draft hopefuls Cameron Brown, Jerron Cage and Taron Vincent.
The three former Buckeyes are all on the West roster for this week’s NFL draft prospect showcase in Las Vegas, which will culminate with the televised game on NFL Network at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
The most important part of the week, however, is the practices that will be well attended by NFL scouts. Each team will practice four times from Saturday to Tuesday in advance of Thursday’s game.
Before their first practice on Saturday, the prospects went through the weigh-in process, and the official measurables for the three Buckeyes are below.
Player | Pos | Height | Weight | Arm | Hand | Wingspan |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
CAMERON BROWN | CB | 5’11 7/8” | 196 | 31 1/8” | 9” | 76 1/8” |
JERRON CAGE | DT | 6’2” | 307 | 33” | 9 5/8” | 79 1/2” |
TARON VINCENT | DT | 6’1 1/8” | 305 | 31 3/8” | 8 7/8” | 77 1/2” |
Shrine Bowl week will be happening simultaneously as the Senior Bowl, where practices will be held Tuesday through Thursday before the game next Saturday (2:30 p.m., NFL Network). Two Buckeyes, Dawand Jones and Ronnie Hickman, are set to participate in that game. (Zach Harrison, who was also set to participate in the Senior Bowl, is no longer listed on the roster for next week’s game.)
