I saw another thread about QBs and it got me thinking, who would have been the best fit with what coach?
I know, this is peak offseason in January, but hey its fun and we've got nothing else going on. For the sake of time, I'll only go back to Cooper.
So here is mine in reverse chronological order -
- CJ Stroud - Probably fit best with Day, second place maybe Cooper?
- Fields - Great fit with Day, but would have loved to see him with Meyer.
- Haskins - Another season with Day could have been special.
- JT - He was his best with Meyer, for the 20 years he was here.
- Cardale - Pair him with Day and he would have put up insane numbers.
- Braxton - Great fit with Meyer, although I would have liked to see more with Herman as OC
- TP2 - Obvious fit with Meyer, would have been fun to watch.
- Troy Smith - I think Tress was the right place for him, Day would be second.
- Krenzel - Again great fit with Tress
- Joe Germaine - Day, all day
- Hoying - Same going with Day
For fun?
- Bellisari with Urban? Who knows?
- Todd Boeckman with Day?
