Many questions following The Game. And here are just a few:
1. Why did this Buckeye team fail to improve for the month of November?
2. Why does Coach Day not instill discipline? I mean the head butt at a crucial time of The Game was not something you would expect from a well coached disciplined team.
3. Why did this team seem to just give up?
4. Why does this team lack toughness? Hard to admit, but Hairball is right about that.
5. Why did Hayden get only two carries?
6. Knowing that a running quarterback can open up the run and pass game, why were there no designed run plays for Stroud? I know we don't want to see Stroud get hurt, but you cannot completely throw out some RPO or designed run for the quarterback. With Stroud, we completely removed this option.
7. Why does the defensive secondary not know how to avoid a pass interference call? Turn around, please.
8. Why did Coach Day and Coach Knowles get out coached in a game they had a year to get ready for? Why did they fail to make critical and timely adjustments?
9. Why do Alabama fans back Bama getting into the playoffs even after two losses, but Ohio State fans are insisting that this one-loss team not make the playoffs? If USC and/or TCU lose, should we just insist a two loss SEC Alabama team be the 4th team instead of the Buckeyes? SEC fans (especially Bama fans) never dismiss their teams and will always back them to the end.
9. Whether we go to a good bowl game or somehow sneak into the playoffs, why do we lack the confidence in Coach Day and Coach Knowles to turn this thing around? Why can we not expect Coach Day to instill the confidence, the discipline, and will to win? Convince me why this is not correct.
