A sizable contingent of NFL scouts is in College Park to scout Ohio State’s second-to-last game of the regular season against Maryland.
The Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers are each slated to have four representatives in attendance, per the press box seating chart, while the New York Giants will have two scouts watching the Buckeyes play the Terrapins. The Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Chargers, Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars will also each have a scout in attendance.
There will be no shortage of NFL talent for those scouts to watch Saturday, headlined by C.J. Stroud, who is sure to garner attention from teams like the Panthers, Lions and Texans who could be in the market to draft a quarterback. He’s just one of many potential 2023 NFL draft picks for the Buckeyes, whose other top draft-eligible prospects include offensive tackles Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones, defensive end Zach Harrison, safety Ronnie Hickman and tight end Cade Stover.
Maryland’s NFL draft prospects to watch include wide receivers Rakim Jarrett and Dontay Demus Jr., left tackle Jaylen Duncan, defensive end Durell Nchami and cornerback Jakorian Bennett.
