- Georgia & OSU are lock step in terms of talent and AP ranking
- TCU, Utah, UCLA, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Michigan are making the most of their talent
- Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Florida, & Miami are doing the least with their talent
- Clemson in 2016 is the least talented team to win a NC (#9), followed by Clemson again in 2018 (#6), followed by LSU in 2019 (#5). For the most part everyone else was in the top 3 in talent.
