Last night after the game, I was very excited about how the defense played. Compared to the last 2 years it's a night and day difference. The offense seemed to be stuck in neutral the majority of the night and I'm wondering if maybe we underestimated Notre Dame's defense. After thinking about it, one of the first series in the game they dropped 9 into coverage, which means everyone would have been double teamed. So when that happens why does CJ not pull it down and pick up free yards. (Even 45 year old Tom Brady will scramble for free yards.) Anyways, it's very possible Notre Dame ends up with one of the best defenses in the country this year. Are you guys worried about the receivers not getting seperation? CJ timing looked off is that a concern? Or do you think Notre Dame has a better then expected defense?
