Jermon Jackson, a former Ohio State running back who played for the Buckeyes from 1994-98, has died. Ironton High School, his alma mater, shared the news of his passing on Friday.

A two-time first-team All-Ohio selection at Ironton, Jackson ran for 698 yards and seven touchdowns on 136 carries and added six catches for 47 yards as a backup running back for the Buckeyes.
According to his LinkedIn page, Jackson went on to earn his Master of Business Administration degree and was a vice president at VOXX after previously working for Chase and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
The cause of death was not immediately available.
