In 2014 we exorcised the Alabama demon.

In 2020 we exorcised the Clemson demon.

In both cases, those accomplishments felt like the summit. The difference was that in 2014 a lesser Oregon team waited in the NCG. This year, a juggernaut awaited.

It felt like we spent all year game planning and preparing for Clemson and about 10 minutes getting ready for Alabama. We clearly prepared (maybe years) in advance for the 2014 Bama game.

The question is, if we have to run the gauntlet of both, can it be done if they're both playing at full capacity?
