I am a bit (actually a lot) confused as to what a DC does, Does he dictate the predominate defensive philosophy? (Ryan Day apparently has). Does he decide when to go nickel or other sets not the primary? How do two guys act as Co-coordinators? Does the DC make subs or is that the position coach? Any and all input is appreciated.
