Thinking about Saturday night’s game...
PSU’s best player is the TE. We know Clifford’s biggest threat is to run. They have a solid RB in Ford but lack depth there. They don’t have any notable WRs. OL appears solid but not spectacular.
I wonder if we will see a game plan similar to Wisconsin, namely, 4 LBS (one acting as QB spy) or 3 lbs and a Safety/LB bullet/rover acting as a QB spy. Seems to me that our DBs can eliminate their pass threat. Werner eliminates the TE threat last year.
That leaves their run game, which I think we can stop well... it’s the QB scrambles and designed runs that are the biggest threat. How would you draw it up for the D this game?
