To kick off last season we won at home against Florida Atlantic by a score of 45-21. Statistically we were MUCH BETTER today than last year against a higher quality opponent (FAU was good last year but Nebraska is better). Fields threw for more yards today than against FAU and JK only ran for 91 yards on 21 carries (4.3 ypc) so its not as if our running game was humming in game #1 last year against a G5 opponent. As a matter of fact, we averaged more YPC today than we did against FAU last year. Also, we committed 7 penalties for 62 yards against FAU and only 3 for 15 yards today. We committed one turnover today on the Olave fumble when they tried to murder him and last year we lost 2 fumbles. We also had more yards in total offense today than to open 2019 and while we gave up about 140 more yards to Nebraska than we did to FAU, we held the Huskers to less points and also scored a defensive TD. 

Sure, there are areas we need to improve upon, but we will. Today was a good all around game by the Buckeyes.
