So LSU loses a few scholarships fro Beckham throwing money around to still eligible players when LSU appears to cooperate with the NCAA.  Ohio State loses a coach, a whole season, players leave early, and 9 scholarships not because players got truly illegal payments from someone else as opposed to selling their own items but because Tressel and Ohio State came across as not cooperating with the NCAA and Tressel withheld information.

Lesson learned.  Do the deed then fall on your sword. You will get off with a slap on the wrist and the NCAA can puff out their chests at what they got you to do.
