Post Covid seems like a fantasy phrase but one day we'll be on the other side of this right?
The last two weeks have seen 4 potential first-round picks (Chase, Davis, Wade, Sewel) opt-out of the season. I get it, I do. My topic isn't about them.
My topic is about this being the new normal when normal returns. I wonder if the opt-out is the new thing. We saw what happened when the transfer portal / immediate eligibility flood gates were opened, curious to know what everyone's thoughts are about players opting out of seasons when they are eligible for the draft AFTER we get back to whatever normal is.
It's probably easy to say that it won't be a thing and its a product of COVID but I'm personally not so sure. I wonder if the genie is out of the bottle and this becomes a thing.
What say you?
