I'm curious if anybody thinks the Nebraska Players' lawsuit will have any impact, and what it might be, or do you agree with Pete Thamel, Pat Forde and Teddy Greenstein who openly mock and scorn these efforts?

My personal guess is that some degree of embarrassing content might be revealed (that is, unless the Big Ten quickly reverses its decision).

My rationale is simply that Nebraska's President voted against canceling the season, and since he attended the meetings wherein that decision was discussed, it's easy to imagine that the lead attorney for the players, Mike Flood, has received inside information or indirect hints that the discovery process might reveal information helpful to his case, OR...

Act as an incentive for the Big Ten to immediately "revisit" their cancellation.

In fact, is this the driving force behind a Big Ten meeting that allegedly will take place as early as tomorrow on renewing the season?

At the very least, Nebraska's lawsuit seems to have motivated the Big Ten to immediately disclose their vote tally, as well as who voted yes or no, all of which was previously withheld from the public (or flagrantly lied about) until they knew that a Court might force them to reveal this information anyway.
