With all the rumors flying around and a whirlwind of activity, we know the B1G is desperately trying to find a way out of this (self inflicted) PR nightmare. tOSU, Iowa and Nebraska want to play, the rest either don't or don't care enough, but probably hate all the negative press as well. They're all terrified of potential unions and more lawsuits that could shed further light on their collective incompetence.
With that as the backdrop, as a Buckeyes fan, what would be the best/worst options for you?
No Buckeye football until fall of '21 while other big boys like Bama and Clemson are playing would obviously really suck. Lets assume for a second that the B1G reconsiders and decides to have a fall season. Would a Thanksgiving start be any better to you than Spring? To me that might actually be worse than not playing at all until next year. Just as with a spring start, we'd have a shell of the team with major stars sitting out/leaving, and we'd have no chance at the CFB championship. A complete ripoff for a Buckeyes fan. For me it's really October start or bust.
