After adding one former Ohio State player by trading for Raekwon McMillan on Saturday, the Las Vegas Raiders released another former Buckeye on Tuesday, when they released running back Rod Smith in one of six roster moves.

Smith had been with the Raiders since December, but played only on special teams for them last season. He has not carried the ball in a regular-season NFL game since he was with the Dallas Cowboys in 2018.

The Raiders still have three former Buckeyes on their roster: McMillan, Johnathan Hankins and Damon Arnette.

NFL teams are required to trim their rosters down to 53 players on Saturday, so there will be many more cuts to come throughout the league this week.
