If I was Gene Smith, Ryan Day and President Johnson what I would do is hatch a plan of our own. Get ahold of Nebraska and Iowa and convince them that we can still have a season.

Then once they are on board call up BYU, and the service academies. Get them on board as well.

Do an 8 game season beginning October 3rd play Iowa and Nebraska as a home and home which is 4 games and play BYU on a neutral site and the service academies at home.

Dare the big ten to stop them and if they try immediately send in the paperwork to withdraw from the big ten conference and have an army of attorneys ready for the fight
