OSU carries the water for the B1G in college football. Ironically, college football happens to be the most profitable amateur sport in history. OSU's athletic department ranks in the top 2 in the nation annually in terms of "worth" and it isn't because of that run the women's lacrosse team made in last year's NCAA tourney (no offense to the women's LAX team, but you get what I'm saying). 

So if the B1G is hell bent on canceling its season, let's make it simple: we'll take our teams and we'll leave the B1G. They are weighing us down in the only sport that really matters. If you don't think that OSU can go the same route as ND and be independent, you're mistaken. Our alumni base, fans, national audiences, revenue, facilities, etc are second to NO ONE. Time for Gene to throw around OSU's weight and save OSU athletics while there is still a chance. If the B1G won't support our team in playing, let's leave the B1G and see who fares better; us or them.
