Personally, doesn’t make sense to me. Why release a schedule and allow practices to start if you’re going to follow it up by limiting teams to helmets only and say spring season right after.

If we go to spring, the top players opt out. And likely not much of a postseason, it would feel like a bunch of scrimmage games.
