Even the most level-headed of college football fans have an exuberance of pride in their predictions. 

I remember during the 2015 season I thought OSU was going to run counter trey with Braxton Miller ad nauseam and he was going to have more productive stats than Percy Harvin. You couldn’t tell me anything after that Virginia Tech game. Turns out, Curtis Samuel proved to be that guy a year later. I may have mentioned my prediction no less than 10 times during the off-season, the confidence is a bit cringeworthy now looking back on it.
