What are your expectations for Justin Fields?
I know this has been discussed a ton but I want to see some #'s.
I want to think every quarterback that starts at Ohio State will throw for 50 touchdowns and nearly 5000 yards each season. I realize this is unrealistic and Dwayne Haskins was truly a gift to our program.
Given Day's reputation as a QB guru and Fields' reputation as a phenom my hopes are still high though. I would be happy if Fields threw for over 3500 yards and ecstatic if he threw for over 4000 yards. I can see Fields adding another 500 yards on the ground and scoring a total of 40 touchdowns between passes and designed QB runs.
Day might play call more to Fields' strengths and run the QB more how we did with JT in short yardage situations. But given the lack of premier depth (I am not sure Hoak can lead us to a title) at the QB position this year Day might try to run Justin as little as possible to keep him healthy. I'm not sure. What are your thoughts 11W?
