When Ohio State holds interviews after practices inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center this time of year – with the NFL draft now less than one month away – one thing you will commonly see is Buckeyes from last year's team going through private workouts with NFL teams.

Last Thursday, former Ohio State running back Mike Weber went through a workout with Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace on Ohio State's practice field.

On Wednesday, former Ohio State wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Johnnie Dixon were in the building for a private workout with the Houston Texans. Senior quality control coach Corey Dennis threw passes to McLaurin and Dixon as a representative from the Texans watched them run routes and catch the ball.

McLaurin has been soaring up draft boards, garnering a first-round projection from ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. on Tuesday after excellent performances at the Senior Bowl, NFL Scouting Combine and last week's pro day, while Dixon also appears to have improved his chances of being drafted with strong showings in Indianapolis and last week in Columbus.
