Teams that didn't blow it in the semis:

2014-15: Oregon, Ohio State, Alabama (Honestly, we won by 7. It felt great, though.)

2015-16: Alabama, Clemson

2016-17: Alabama, Clemson

2017-18: Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma (even though they kinda blew it.)

2018-19: Alabama, Clemson

Teams that clearly didn't belong:

2014-15: Florida State

2015-16: Oklahoma. Michigan State

2016-17: Ohio State, Washington

2017-18: Clemson

2018-19: Notre Dame, Oklahoma

Point is, I can think of at least 3 years where Ohio State should have been in and weren't and one where they shouldn't have been in and they were on name recognition, and subsequently got shut out.

The committee got it right once. They might as well include UCF. What's it gonna hurt? It's been mostly blowouts anyway.
