I say this because every year since the playoff began 5 years ago, Ohio St has been involved in every "controversial" decision.

2014 It came down to Ohio St, Baylor, and TCU. Ohio St gets in the last ranking and people saw it as a controversial decision. We all know how that turned out.

2015 Ohio St loses to MSU, goes on to annihilate the next 2 opponents. Ohio St gets left out even though it was debated Ohio St should have gotten in over MSU. We all saw how that played out.

2016 Ohio St gets beat at psu on a blocked field goal. Penn St goes on to win the big ten, Ohio St gets in the playoff over PSU which people said was a mistake an Penn St should have gotten in.

2017 It comes down to 2 loss big ten champion Ohio St vs 1 loss non champion Alabama. People were split on the decision, ultimately Alabama gets the nod due to the gross second loss on the season. We all know how this turned out as well.

2018 If Oklahoma and Ohio St both win, and Georgia loses. The decision is going to come down to another controversial one. Oklahoma with a terrible defense and the best offense, or Ohio St with a slightly better defense and the second beat offense.

Ultimately every year it comes down to Ohio St vs and every year it can be seen as controversial.
