I find it interesting that none of the recruiting gurus have mentioned anything about David Long given our struggles at linebacker this season. This kid was only a 3 star, I get it. But he’s from Cincinnati, OH, and has instincts for days. He’s been a staple for WVU for two years now, and yes, I’m aware WVU isn’t setting any defensive records anytime soon. But I watch all of the Mountaineers’ games, and for the past two seasons, you can find #11 at the ball on almost every play. And this is with minimal DL help, as they run a 3-3 stack with bad DL play. 

My point is, how did we let him get away? We obviously need help at LB, and we had a Robert Landers type of in state talent at LB get away.
