In the SECfans. (SEC analytical guys who made fun of Finebaum for being dumb) video that was in the forums the hosts brought up a good point that the 14 point spread is pretty low when objectively looking at TCU and OSU. TCU has a lot of injuries to important players. OSU on offense at this point looks unstoppable with Haskins arm and the running backs. TCU's defense is good but is very small across the board and built for speed(stopping offenses in the Big 12) but will have a speed disadvantage due to OSU's talent on top of a massive size advantage. Shawn Robinson is a great runner and will do a lot of damage but he struggled mightily throwing the ball last year and in the first two game this year against Southern(17/24 for 182 yards, 7.5 y/a very bad when considering competition) and then against SMU(16/29 for 154 yard, 5.3 y/a which is awful, although is rained for parts of the game) SMU was coming off North Texas throwing for 444 yards against them. Being objective as possible OSU is a much better team than TCU and should win by much more than 14. S&P has OSU as 20 point favorites

Does Vegas know something we don't know? Most games they want to try to have the money split 50/50 but they have some games where they have a ridiculous spread to make money(Last year #13 OSU vs #12 MSU had a spread of MSU+17 the game after the Iowa drubbing and most of the money went to MSU who failed to cover) Is this one of those spreads and will the game be much closer than most think? Currently 60% of the money is on OSU

The over/under is only 60 points right now with 75%(!!!) of the money on over, why would they set that so low? The thoughts on this game are OSU will score a lot but the defense isn't very good, nobody expects a low scoring affair.

Edit: Assume Vegas is going to win because they normally do and say it will be under 60, There aren't a lot of scores that make sense without a massive blowout of TCU.
