Johnathan Hankins hasn't been on an NFL roster in nearly six months since he was released by the Indianapolis Colts in March.
The former Ohio State defensive tackle worked out for the Cleveland Browns last month, and was previously linked to the Washington Redskins and New York Jets, but the entire preseason came and went and the season started last week without Hankins landing on a roster.
That could finally change this week, however, as Hankins is on his way to visit the Oakland Raiders, who want to sign him, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Hankins spent his first four NFL seasons (2013-16) with the New York Giants before spending one season with the Colts.
