I fell in love with the Buckeyes in the 80’s.  But it was the 90’s that broke my heart.  While I liked Cooper and his ability to explode OSU to a NFL factory I hated two things.  First, for some reason at some point in the season his teams almost always inexplicably wouldn’t show up for a game a 28-0 blasting by TTUN in 93,  biakabutuka in 95, OSU offense not showing up in the 96 Michigan game, 1998 MSU shocker, all come to mind.  The second was, outside the 97 Rosebowl, his teams always folded the tent when adversity hit.  Today’s ass kicking brought back ghost of Cooper.  I’m not sure what team that was.  I have no idea who they were and what made it worse is after being spanked in the first half they played worse in the second.  Gutless and yet, loaded with Talent.  I love Urban.  I always will but this team is lacking and reminds way too much of the 90’s Buckeyes.  Loaded with talent that will play on Sundays but unable to show up on winnable games.  Today was scary man....damn scary.
