Although last night was a dominating performance, I am still very hesitant on the play of Damon Webb and Eric Smith. Jordan Fuller has settled in just nice in the defense and has become a star but the other two continue to look unimpressive. Last night almost all of the big plays came at the expense of Webb and Smith. Webb continues to be singled out and picked on in coverage and Smith doesn’t seem to have that center fielder mentality to not let plays behind him. It’s make me question if these are the best options at safety or if some of the young bloods should be getting playing time.
