Throughout these first four games of the season I've noticed a trend by our defense that was almost nonexistent last season. We are blitzing our linebackers a ton this season. All three LB's are coming and even Harrison when he gets in there. Outside of a few plays last year, we rarely sent our LB's and trusted our Dline and secondary. I remember some consternation on the board s about our lack of blitzing.

We still got to the QB a lot but I'm wondering why the change in defensive strategy occurred when we have the same Defensive Coordinator (I'm aware that Fickell was Co-coordinator as well).  What about this defense warrants the necessity to send our LB's as opposed to last year? 

Ive noticed we've run some different schemes as well and I'm curious what the masses think about why we have adopted a more agggresuve approach. Is it to protect our young secondary?
