The U-17 U.S. team just finished winning the Nike International Friendlies competition last night. They went 3-0 beating Turkey 4-1, Portugal the U-17 Euro champs 7-1, and Brazil the Copa America U-17 champs 3-0. Obviously these results don't mean the US is set to dominate the soccer world in the next 10 years but the development of our youth players have improved by leaps and bounds over what they were just 10 years ago. Should be a bright future for U.S. soccer.
