We have to win out for a chance to play in the Big 10 championship game. Assuming Michigan will still be undefeated when the come to Columbus and loses that game to Ohio State, both teams would be at 11-1 but Ohio state gets the nod for winning the head to head. I looked at Penn State's remaining schedule which is at Purdue, Iowa, at Indiana, at Rutgers and Michigan State. To me all of those games very winnable for Penn State. I'm not saying they are going to be favored in all of them and if I've learned anything about James Franklin it's he will find a way to lose in some embarrassing fashion. But if they do win those games and end up at 10-2 with the same conference record as Ohio State and Michigan at 11-1 then would they get the nod to play in the championship game because they won the head to head against the Buckeyes? Am I way off? How worried should we be that Penn State could win out?
