This is very disheartening IMO, it appears the correlation between playing professional and / or collegiate football and brain damage is very high.
I think the way the game is played will change drastically in the years to come, maybe even in the near future. It's a game I love watching either live or while sitting on my couch, most of us here are football junkies, but the the safety of the players must come first.
I'm sure there will be some "wussification of football" comments, but again, this kind of makes me feel guilty for enjoying a sport played by gladiators that I worship, but may be doing something that could ruin their future quality of life.
Interested in other folk's opinion.
