I found this article with some interesting backstory on the Armani Reeves situation. Reeves apparently had 4 concussions during the season, with the last one in the BIG championship game. After the season, his godfather, who was a former NFL player, showed him some of his former teammates who are not doing well allegedly because of the effects from getting hit in the head during their NFL careers. His godfather appears to be the one pushing him to leave the game. And after 4 concussions in 1 year, with the most recent 2 coming on "minor" hits, I don't blame him.
