Preface: I raised the Ohio flag at the stroke of midnight on 01/12/2015. A deluge of icy rain met the flag. Could the swallowtail endure?
I was bummed post Hokie-gate.
I road-tripped to C-bus with my son to the Rutgers game.
I answered questions from my cynical friends post-Minnesota.
I watched J.T. as his ankle was broken. Didn't like it, but watched it in real time.
I did the superstitious thing for Wisky. (A stroke of midnight Ohio-flag-raising occurred)
I savored 'Bama. (Yet another stroke of midnight Ohio-flag-raising)
I went quasi-superstitious for the Ducks (still in my workout clothes), but also savored the win.
Never, not ever. Not after any/nor during any of those wins, did I think about the conference. Let alone, chanting the conference nomenclature.
Can we all agree and promise to never go that route!?
