The situation Ohio State will have next year I don't recall ever happening before. Has any team had a heisman candidate on the team suffer an injury, be replaced, have that guy be just as impressive, the injured player returns looking to earn his job back. The closest I can think is Tom Brady and Drew Bledsoe, obviously this happened in the pros. Are there any instances in college with this happening however?
