I think we all know how bad last night was but let's talk about some of the positives.  

Ill start.

Our D did play well.  We were able to get penetration and put VT in a lot of 3rd in longs. Many times we had them dead to rights but to his credit the VT QB escaped and made some incredible plays.  They also forced two fumbles even though one was gifted back to VT.  

The secondary played much better than last year.  They were in position and broke up several passed.  They did force two INTs.

Perry and Lee played well and were all over the field.  

Barrett showed nice touch and made some nice throws that should have been caught.  He also showed good running ability,
