here's my situation, told the girlfriend I'd pick her up from the airport.  though she's been gone all summer, i just went to see her for 1.5 weeks like 3 weeks ago.  she seems to really like the idea of me picking her up although it's the opposite of practical in our city.  cab would be much easier.

the problem? she lands at 745pm (could not have been worse timing, middle of oregon / msu game and beginning of osu / vtech).  i would much rather pay for her cab to drop her off where we'll watch the game.  i cannot correspond with her until she lands.  

is this a bad idea to suggest to her when she lands that i pay for her cab? will i be in the dog house? need some seasoned advice.
