I still say making the dance and playing a decent half is enough for my expectations this year - I have some questions maybe someone who knows more about basketball than me can enlighten me 

1.  As much as I can’t believe I’m saying this - while not exactly a microwave like Jamie Skelton - Gabe Cupps was a big piece of the comeback - I simply don’t agree with the decision to take him out and never put him back - clearly the 3 guard set was working - seems like should go with the hot rotation… when we stopped the 3 guard offense - TCU regained their mojo…

2.  Not sure why but the coaching on the last few minutes and our inability to win close games or ability to blow leads late seem to be linked with coaching - I mean Marcus Freeman sure did make some first time mistakes his first year but he quickly adapted I simply don’t understand the strategy of the final play

3.  In our defense it seemed to me we had a number of baskets in a row under then 10 minute mark when we took tue 5 point lead that seemed like baskets should have been fouls and a three point opportunity.  TCU seemed to get several of these - even when they traveled … but we didn’t seem to get many (and the ones we did - seemed like we missed our share of free throws)

4.  Our defense coming out of halftime was a great adjustment 

5.  Haven’t seen this bad a final game by a star since Dennis Hopson had a tummy ache vs Georgetown…. It didn’t seem like Bruce was even looking for shots - that was shocking how he was taken out of the game

6.  I feel we would be wise to hire a GM who has built a good mid major team - with more resources he should be able to identify players better - just doesn’t seem like our transfers have hit and we could have spent far less for far better - look at the guys Miami(OH) or HighPoint has - seem like guys who actually make an impact on the court

7.  Three deadly scoring droughts seem again like a habitual issue for this program

8.  Lots of credit for fighting back from 15 down… it’s a moral victory yes - but that’s where this program is and willl be till we decide we want to win badly 

9.  I can sleep easy enough after this - now no Buckeye stress for about 6 months… :)
