Seven members of each Ohio State basketball team earned Academic All-Big Ten honors on Wednesday.

Bruce Thornton, John Mobley Jr. and Devin Royal are among a contingent of seven Ohio State men’s basketball players who earned Academic All-Big Ten recognition for the 2025-26 season.

All five starters on the Ohio State women’s basketball team – Jaloni Cambridge, Kennedy Cambridge, Chance Gray, Elsa Lemmilä and Ava Watson – are among seven women’s basketball Buckeyes who earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.

To earn Academic All-Big Ten status, a player must be enrolled in a Big Ten school for at least one year – meaning freshmen and players who transferred from non-Big Ten schools last offseason were not eligible – and carry a grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
