Props to Thornton- but the rest of our program is absolute garbage…. I’ve seen better run plays from C level girls rec league teams than in our last 9:00 of the second half…

Diebler by all accounts is a nice dude and strong and legit in his faith - but he is in way way over his head.  I for one cannot watch this hot garbage any longer - and I’ve been a huge fan of basketball since the early Eldon Miller days - I’ve seen a lot and went through the era in the mid 80’s after Kellogg left where I’m not sure we had 3 dunks a season.  
 

not hiring Dusty May was a colossal case of mismanagement - every game is so predictable - I can even show the text I sent my buddy before the game I predicted we would be up 6 with about 12 minutes left and I said we would lose by 8… so a bit off there

our transfer classes have been a Blutarsky-esque - zero point zero zero.  I don’t care what our budget is - whatever it is - we ain’t doing even a D- job of talent and culture evaluation.

I guess I am thankful to have a lot of time to spend with family rather than watching this crap and I can enjoy March madness without much stress.  It seems as our Softball program hit a home run and I’m excited to see if they can continue to grow - but last night was the final straw for our program and me - it is dead to me until they can show any sign of actual progress.

Our program was so enjoyable to watch until Thad’s back surgery went south.  I only need an occasional sweet 16 appearance - nothing more.  I was pretty happy with Eldon till about ‘85… and of course Randy Ayer’s seems very similar to Diebler when you take away the Jimmy Jackson and his guys…. I’m quite frankly done - and watching Holtman build DePaul into. Serious program tells me it wasn’t him… it’s us…

a lot of great memories of our program - but I feel LaQuentin Ross’s dagger to beat Arizona in the sweet 16 may have been our final highlight for 25+ years and that was 2013?… we haven’t won a sweet 16 game nor been since then right?
