I’ve followed this Buckeye team all season and two common themes have been: 1) open looks result almost exclusively from a few select players who can create their own shots (and unfortunately we have several guys incapable of that) and 2) quality looks have been non-existent in crunch time.
My question is, how in the hell have offenses devolved so significantly??
Watching basketball this year, most offensive sets consist of a ball screen for the PG at most with 2-3 guys utterly standing in place around the perimeter. Off-the-ball screens that were once the norm seem non-existent.
