I figure I'll put in my two cents, which is valued at nothing. Now that schools and conferences are talking about refusing to play Texas Tech, which I honestly see as symbolic, and not happening due to the money involved. Can the conferences lean on the Playoff Committee to not seed Texas Tech until after the issue is resolved in court? Nothing is stopping the NCAA from declaring Sorsby ineligible; obviously, with the injunction, he'll play. In turn can the Playoff Committee say we are going to hold off on ranking Texas Tech until this matter is resolved in court? The reason being the irreparable harm done to the CFP image and product if Sorsby is indeed declared ineligible and then Playoff games end up being vacated? To me, it seems like a huge risk for the CFP to have Texas Tech in, given that any game they play in can be vacated after January 25th. Just a thought. You all can hack me to bits in the comments! LOL
