Kris Wilkes, a five-star forward out of Indianapolis and the No. 11-ranked player in the 2017 class, took an unofficial visit to Ohio State on Wednesday.
The Buckeyes offered.

It doesn't appear Wilkes is close to making a decision, and I'm not sure how realistic of a chance Ohio State has at landing him, but it's still interesting.
Wilkes, listed at 6-foot-7 and 190 pounds, is a borderline top-10 player in the 2017 class so you can bet blueblood programs like Kentucky, Duke and North Carolina will be involved. He also has offers from and high interest in UCLA and Maryland. And, as with any Indianapolis kid, the in-state Hoosiers are going to be a factor.
