I just came across this in Bob Hunter's Rumblings for this week:

Tyson Carter from Starksville, Miss., was planning to take an official visit to Ohio State during the weekend when his coach and father, Greg, got a phone call.

“We were supposed to visit last weekend, but the visit got canceled last Thursday,” he said. “ They called us and told us they had gotten a commitment from a kid.”

The story goes on to note that Carter & Kobi Simmons are the only two guards being recruited for the class.  Could this mean that Simmons is unofficially on-board with the good guys?
