I have no ill will towards D'Angelo Russel and I am thankful he decided to play hoops at OSU.  However, I can't bring myself to publicly wish him the best in the NBA like so many others have done here.  Sure I hope he does well, I hope every kid that dreams of playing in the NBA does well if he ultimately makes it.  The fact is, after just 30 games, one Big Ten Tourney win and one NCAA Tourney win, I just don't feel any connection that makes me want to follow his career any further.  Maybe if OSU made a deep run in the NCAAs, I'd feel different.  For me, it's a stretch to consider him a life-long Buckeye. 

For the record, I think he made the right decision and I'm probably just grumpy about him leaving.
