Women's lacrosse announced the hire of Gabby Capuzzi as Associate Head Coach today. Cappuzzi was an incredibly accomplished Buckeye lacrosse player from 2009 to 2012. Capuzzi ended her career as the leader in draw controls for Ohio State's women's lacrosse team (now 3rd all-time). She holds two of the top ten season records for draw controls.

Capuzzi also scored 42 goals in her senior season, making her a force on offense as well. Immediately following her senior year, Capuzzi entered the coaching ranks at Ohio State. Her final season, 2014, the Buckeyes managed to score an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. From there, Capuzzi departed for Navy, helping that program set program records on offense and defense during her time there.

Needless to say, this is an immediate impact hire for the Buckeye program! Welcome back home, Coach Capuzzi!
