So for the 2018-2019 year OSU athletics lost money. I often read how OSU athletics prints money and how they should spend more on assistant coaches, build this, fire someone, give out more scholarships for football, wrestling, etc.

OSU does have a budget and it seems they lost money last year FWIW. I do know revenue takes a hit when The Game is in Ann Arbor. They also may still be paying Thad Matta, not sure on that.

According to Gene Smith OSU lost $600,000 for the year...and spent 1.5 million dealing with Zach Smith FWIW.
