Current U.S.Senator and former college football coach Tommy Tuberville is introducing a bill to limit the ability of college athletes to transfer. According to Tuberville the bill is simple. See Below
“That’s why I’m introducing a bill that would allow student-athletes to transfer 1 time without penalty, no questions asked. After that if you choose to transfer, you sit out a year. It’s simple,” he added.
I am on the fence. While I think it would benefit college athletics as a whole but I am not sure it is fair to restrict the ability of the athlete to make a move that they think is in their best interests.
Any thoughts?
