6th and 7th years of eligibility. Something’s gotta give here. I know there are plenty that will say “this is good for the game” and “parity is awesome” 

it was never intended to have 24-25 year old mercenaries against 19-20-21 year olds. 
 

Unfortunately I think most of the power brokers are too scared to try to put any guard rails on it. 
 

There’s discussion about going to 16 teams and then 24 in the playoff a few years after! There’s barely 12 teams good enough now to be in the playoff at the power 4 level- we saw that this year with two group of five invites- staring a hole in your soul ACC

 not sure what do to about it. Will still love the Buckeyes and try to position myself to watch them in the fall, but outside of that I think I’ll be finding other ways to spend my weekends
